1. All forms are modelled and sculpted by Derek Robinson personally. Moulds and forms are manufactured on the premises.
2. Shoulder mounts requiring wooden shields will carry an additional charge of 15% of the mounting costs.
3. Mounts requiring open mouths will carry an additional charge of 15%.
4. Pedestal mounts are charged at shoulder mount price plus 25%.
5. Wooden pedestals for floor mountsare charged as follows:
   • Small (impala, blesbuck, etc.) $325.00
   • Medium (kudu, gemsbuck, etc.) $395.00
   • Large (buffalo, eland, etc) $450.00
   
   Pedestal table mounts:
   • Small $75.00
   • Large $150.00
   
   Supplying of antelope skin for inlay, including labour $100.00
   Supplying of zebra skin for inlay, including labour $300.00
6. Pedestal horn & skull mounts will carry an additional charge of 20% of skull mount price.
7. Full mount prices include standard bases. Custom designs will carry additional charges based on pose, type and size of base. 15% - 35%.
8. Half mounts are charged at 70% of the full mount price.
9. Importation of hunting trophies from African countries:
   We will require a deposit from you, prior to us arranging the importation of your trophies. This amount will be advised according to the volume of trophies being imported and will be used to pay any advance charges required by the exporting country as well as for import documentation and clearing charges in South Africa. Any over or underpayment will be adjusted on your final taxidermy account.
   On receipt of your deposit we will immediately place your order on our production schedule, ensuring a shorter delivery for completion of your trophies.
10. We have our own in-house tannery and use formic acid and imported German Lutan FN tanning oil on all our capes and skins and are not responsible for any defect which may occur during the tanning process as a result of poor field preparation.
11. Trophies are stored at owner’s risk. Insurance can be arranged for your trophies while they are in our possession or in transit.
12. Packing charges:
    • 15% of total order for mounted trophies.
    • 20% Of total order for raw Preparation.
13. Permits:
    • Cites permits $70.00
    • General permits $60.00
    • Veterinary permits $60.00
14. A 40% non-refundable deposit is required before we commence processing your trophies. Please provide us with written mounting instructions for your trophies when paying your deposit.
15. Shipping of trophies:
    We use the services of a reputable freight agent in Johannesburg who is well versed in the handling of game trophies, however, should you wish to nominate your own agent, please notify us accordingly.
16. Only legally obtained trophies will be accepted and processed by Derek Robinson taxidermists. All necessary documentation to be handed to us on delivery of the raw trophies to our studio.
